Dr. Timothy Taylor is a dual board-certified physician in family medicine and sports medicine with additional expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound and regenerative orthopedics. At Break Through Regenerative Orthopedics, he provides advanced ultrasound-guided procedures including platelet-rich plasma, prolotherapy, peripheral nerve hydrodissections, and other regenerative injections. His passion is helping patients overcome pain, restore function, and return to the activities they love.
Prior to joining Break Through, Dr. Taylor completed extensive training in primary care sports medicine at Campbell University, where he cared for more than 500 Division I athletes and served as a team physician across multiple sports. He has also supported elite athletes as a physician for the USA Freestyle Ski Team in Japan and provided ringside medical coverage for professional combat sports events.
Dr. Taylor has served as Associate Clinical Professor at California Health Sciences University and Adjunct Professor of Osteopathic Medicine at Campbell University, where he was recognized as a dedicated teacher and mentor. He continues to advance the field through education, serving as a preceptor and instructor in musculoskeletal medicine, teaching ultrasound-guided procedures and osteopathic manipulation.
In addition to his clinical and teaching work, Dr. Taylor has participated in international medical relief efforts in Haiti and Mexico and remains committed to service, mentorship, and advancing patient care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, being active outdoors, and tackling hands-on DIY projects.
