Timothy Taylor, DO, CAQSM, is a dual-board-certified physician in family medicine and sports medicine, helping patients restore movement, relieve pain, and return to the activities they love. At Breakthrough Regenerative Orthopedics in Boulder, Colorado, Dr. Taylor offers advanced non-surgical treatments for joint, muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques such as ultrasound-guided platelet-rich plasma (PRP), prolotherapy, and regenerative injections. His patient-centered approach focuses on promoting natural healing, enhancing function, and helping athletes and active individuals of all levels recover safely.
Dr. Taylor completed his fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Campbell University, where he treated over 500 Division I athletes and served as team physician across multiple sports. He has also provided care for elite competitors, including members of the USA Freestyle Ski Team and professional athletes in combat sports.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Taylor has served as an Associate Clinical Professor at California Health Sciences University and as an Adjunct Professor of Osteopathic Medicine at Campbell University, where he has been recognized for mentoring the next generation of physicians.
